1. Before we begin, create a new layer. Position it below previous layer, name it 'tail' layer. With the same technique described in previous part, create an ellipse. Fill it gradient color and modify it using Envelope like image below.
2. Select modified ellipse shape. Activate Free Transform Tool. Move registration point far outside the shape. Registration point is a small circle that functions as an axis for later transformation. Look at image below for reference.
3. While shape still selected, from main menu click Window>Transform. A Transform window will appear. Use 105%x105% for size transformation. Fill -10 for rotation. Press Copy and Apply Transformation button at the bottom right window several times. I clicked more than 10 times to create something like image below. The result may vary, based on how big your ellipse is and how far you move the registration point.
4. Now, select all shape in tail layer. For easy selection, just click on 'tail' layer in Timeline. Using Free Transform Tool, scale, rotate and move it to the right position. You will have a scorpion's tail.
5. Next step, we will create a telson, a specially modified segment at the tip of the "tail" that contains the venom gland (i.e. the "stinger"). Simply create an ellipse, apply Envelope and move couple of point like image below. Move to its position and voila, you already have a telson.
Next, in Part 3, we will create a head and pedipalps.
