Push-Up Animation Using BipedHere's another tutorial sent by one of my friend to be posted here. Thanks to Mohd. Itqan for writing this awesome tutorial. In this tutorial you will create Push-Up Animation using Biped in 3ds max. Biped surely helping us to make cool animation in shorter time and less effort. You will find out soon. In this first part of tutorial, we will first arrange the biped to make Push-Up position.

1.Open or Reset 3d max. Draw a plane in Perspective viewport (Create >Geometry > Plane) with Length and Width = 200. Length and Width Segments = 1.

With the help of Select And Move Tool positon the plane at x=0 ,y=0 and z=0. Now, create a biped ( Create>Systems>Biped) by click and drag at the center of the grid.

Reduce the number of Toe Links to 1 and Set Height = 70.

2. Select any part of biped and go to Motion tab.
Select Body Rotation and rotate the biped about 70 degrees on Y axis. Now, select Body Vertical and move the biped down to a position that its feet start touching the plane.
Biped should now look something like this:

3.Select both Upper Arm bipeds and rotate them so that they become perpendicular to plane.
Note: If your biped hands are penetrating the plane, don't worry about them, we will fix them right in a moment.

4. Select both the hand bipeds and rotate them parallel to plane.

5. Next, fine tune the biped if hand bipeds are still going down through the plane. Use Body Vertical to move them up. Use Body Rotation to put legs back to place. Keep doing this until you are satisfied with the results. When you are ready, move on to the 2nd part of the tutorial.
