This tutorial needs you to understand basic use of 3dsmax.
In Part 1, we already knew how to create morphing animation. If you create morph target with the same material, you don't need to change applied texture in morph base object. But, in this tutorial you need to change human into werewolf, so you need to animate the texture.
1. Select morph base object (human head). In Modify Panel, go to Global Parameters rollout, and click Assign New Material button. Watch human head material is changing. Note: Clicking Assign New Material button has the same result with applying Morpher Material from Material Editor. Morpher material is a special material that can be used with Morpher modifier. It also has 100 channels that work parallel with channels in Morpher modifier.

2. Open Material Editor.Select one empty material slot. Then, click Eyedropper Tool and click on morph base object (human head). Morpher material will be opened in that material slot. Standard type material is now changed as Morpher material.

3. In Morpher Basic Parameters rollout, click Choose Morph Object button. Then, click morph base object in viewport (human head).

4. A small window will appear, showing modifier applied in object. Select Morpher and click Bind.

5. Now, we need to set up material for base and target object. In Morpher Basic Parameters rollout, in Base Material click Default Material (Standard) button. Then in Blinn Basic Parameters, click small button right next to Diffuse. In Material/Map Browser window, choose Bitmap and use file human.jpg that you downloaded earlier. When finished, click Go To Parent button twice to go back to Morpher Basic Parameters rollout.

6. Now, we will set up material for morph target object. In Channel Material Setup click button right next to Mat 1. You use this channel because you only have one channel in Morpher modifier. With the same process like before, use wolf.jpg for Diffuse.

7. It's done. Unfortunately you can't see the preview in viewport. You have to render to see how animated material looks like. Below is sample of morphing animation sequence with material applied. Note: This technique is usable only when morph target object is not in extreme form. When in extreme form, this techique may result in stretched material. So, you better careful when using it.
