Modeling Bugatti Veyron: DetailsNext, we are going to modify the rear side of car. We will create lamps and also muffler.

1.Turn off all sub-object selection. Select plane mapped with fornt blueprint. Open Material Editor. Apply this blueprint with "buggati back" material. In Top viewport, move mapped blueprint to the leftmost side. Change Left viewport to Right viewport. You should now see rear blueprint.

To help you see things clearly, you can hide half of object. Select polygons you want hide. For example you can select polygons at front. Then go to Edit Polygons rollout. Click Hide Selected. Later, to unhide, just click Unhide All

2. Modify vertices based on rear blueprint. like image below. Use Constraints=Edge. Then, select vertical edges (shown in yellow color) like image below. Apply Connect

3. Modiy vertices position again

4. Select 4 verices at rear lamp. Apply Chamfer. Change to Edge selection. Select several edges like middle image below. Use Connect to add more edges.

5. Change to Vertex selection. Modify vertices position to create round shape.

Then use Cut to cut in several places like image below.

6. Now, look at the long lamp below previous 4 lamps. Use Cut in the left and right side

Select horizontal edges like middle image below.

Apply Chamfer to selected edges. Modify vertices position like most bottom image.

Use Weld or Target Weld to combine vertices inside the yellow circle.

7. Next, some extrusion. Select several polygons (upper image below), apply Extrude Settings. Use Extrusion Height=-25

Select the middle polygons (bottom image below). Also apply Extrude, but with fewer extrusion amount. Let's say -10.

8. Select polygons. Apply Inset. And finally use Cut at the bottom (left and right).

9. Select polygons like image below. Apply Extrude with positive value.

10. Select inner polygons. Extrude with quite amount of depth. Select newly created horizontal polygons and delete them

11. The muffler. (1) Select polygons. (2). Apply Inset. (3) Modify vertices. (4) Activate Polygon selection again, then apply Inset. (5) select perimeter polygons. (6) Apply Extrude with positive value. Make the muffler a little bit longer.
