Modeling Bugatti Veyron: Car BodyIn previous tutorial you have created front bumper model. Now, you will modify that front bumper by adding rear side. The best part is you don't need to model rear bumper from scratch again. You can duplicate front bumper and use it as rear bumper.

1. Select one edge like image below and click Chamfer button. Click and drag selected edge and until you get two edges.

2. In Left viewport, select several edges and Shift+drag to the right. Adjust vertices position to make a door.

3. Zoom in area under side mirror. Open Grid And Snap Settings (Customize>Grid And Snap Settings), make sure Vertex, Edge/Segment, Endpoint and Midpoint are selected. Then activate 3D Snap Toggle. You need to cut several times (from 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3, and 1-2). Right click to finish cutting. When finished, turn off 3D Snap Toggle.

4. In Left viewport, select edges above door. Then, Shift+drag edges up a little bit, then move inside in Top viewport. Repeat this process.

Weld 2 vertices shown in right image below. You can use Target Weld. After clicking Target Weld button, click one vertex and then click another vertex you want to combine.

5. Activate Polygon selection. Select polygons like image below.

In Top viewport, Shift+drag selected polygons to the right .In opened dialog box choose to clone as separate object. Click OK.

Turn off any sub object selection. And select newly created object. Mirror this object and position this object until it fits with rear tire area.

Select one object, go to Modify tab, click Attach button, and click the other object to combine them as one object.

Finally, activate Vertex selection. Use Target Weld to connect vertices, shown inside white circle. I guess you'll know what to do, so I let you guys do this on your own.

6. Select horizontal edges in door area. Use Connect with Segments=2.

Move several vertices like image below.

7. Next, you will create oval shape door. Use Cut like image below. I suggest that you activate 3D Snap Toggle before cutting.

8. In Top viewport, move several vertices to make the side of car body a little bit curvy.

9. Image below shows sample of finished object up to this point Next tutorial, adding roof.
