This tutorial needs you to understand basic use of 3dsmax.
Creating main rotor in the main subject of this tutorial. You will create simple main rotor. By following this tutorial you can create main rotor with its blades in minutes.
43. Create cylinder in Top viewport. Use values like image below. Activate Select And Rotate tool and in bottom of the screen fill in 22.5 degree rotation in Z axis. Your cylinder orientation will be like image below.

44. Right click on cylinder, and choose Convert to>Convert to Editable Poly. Activate Polygon selection. Select polygon in cylinder cap. Use Inset, Extrude and Bevel to create object like image below. When finished, move main rotor object to its proper location. Adjust vertices if necessary..

45. Change selection to Polygon. Select 4 polygon like image below. Use Bevel twice to create blades.

46. Next, use Extrude three times to lengthen the blades. You should use Extrude Settings to fill extrusion amount. Use the amount that match blueprint in Top viewport.

47. You need to give the blades more width. For each blade select vertices on one side (watch image below for reference). Activate Select And Rotate Tool. In Top viewport, rotate the vertices clockwise.

48. Next, remove vertices selection of vertices near main rotor. You can deselect using region selection while holding Alt. After that, rotate counter clockwise a bit.

49. Last step in creating the blades. Select all vertices in the tip of each blades. Then, rotate clockwise a little bit. You will get final result like image below.
