This tutorial needs you to understand basic use of 3dsmax.
In this tutorial, you will continue to model Apache helicopter. In the Part 1 tutorial, you have created a basic helicopter body. Now, we will create addition in the bottom part of Apache body.
10. Change selection to Edge. Select all vertical edges in bottom part of body. Then, create horizontal edges using Connect.

11. Change selection to Vertex. In Right viewport, move several vertices to match the blueprint. Use image below as reference.

12. Activate Edge selection again. Using Connect, add three more vertical edges like image below. I suggest using Connect Settings and adjust Slide value to move edges right or left a little bit.

13. De-activate all sub-object selection. Add Symmetry modifier to object. Symmetry is used when we want to model similar right or left side at the same time. If you use Symmetry modifier, you only need to modify one side, the other side changes automatically. Uncheck Slice Along Mirror. We don't want object sliced in the middle.

14. In modifier stack, click plus (+) sign left of Editable Poly to open sub-object selection. Select Polygon to activate Polygon selection. Select several polygon below cockpit(cabin area). In image below, I select 5 polygons. In Edit Polygon rollout, click Extrude button. Give extrusion by click and drag in selected polygons in viewport.

15. Change to Vertex selection. In Top viewport, move several vertices to create non-sharp corner like image below. Next in Part 3, you will create small wings and tail.
