This tutorial needs you to understand basic use of 3dsmax.

Modeling A SnailYour Flushed Away snail is nearly finished. After creating mouth (Part 1), body (Part 2), and eyes (Part 3 ), we are going to create teeth. The technique used in creating teeth is very simple. You don't need to create all teeth one by one. Here's how.

1. First you need to create a single tooth. Go to Create Panel. Select Extended Primitives from drop-down list. Choose Chamferbox, click and drag in Top viewport to create. Use values like image below. Then, convert ChamferBox into Editable Poly. Activate Vertex selection. In Front viewport, move vertices to create tooth shape.

2. De-activate all sub-object selection. Shift+drag tooth object to create clone. Use Copy for clone method. Rotate cloned tooth 180° to make it upside down .

3. Now, leave those teeth for a while. Select snail's body object. Go into Edge sub-object selection. Select edges inside the mouth (look at image below for reference). There are 12 edges you need to select. For easy selection, select one edge and click Loop in Selection rollout. After all edges were selected, in Edit Edges rollout, click Create Shape From Selection. Click OK. You will have separate shape object called Shape01. When finished, de-activate all sub-object selection.

4. Now, select original tooth object. From top menu, choose Tools>Spacing Tool. This tool is used to clone object and place created clones along specified path or ponts. In Spacing Tool window, click Pick Path button. Press H in keyboard to open Select Objects window. Highlight Shape01 and click Select button. Fill in Count=5, Start Offset=80 and End Offset=40. In Context, activate Follow. You are now have bottom teeth. Click Apply when finished.

5. Next, you are going to create upper teeth. Use the same previous technique, but right now use cloned tooth object. Fill Count=4, Start Offset=0, End Offset=140, uncheck Follow, and Type of Object=Copy. Click Apply. You'll have upper teeth. Use Select and Uniform Scale to enlarge two front teeth.

6. Select snail's body object. In Modifier Stack, turn on all modifier. Add TurboSmooth modifier. You'll need to move all teeth in their right position.

7. Final adjustment, add two spheres created in Front viewport. Place them exactly in its position to create eyes. Your Flushed Away snail is finished. Image below shows rendered snail.
